Peru to face Mexico in battle for pool leadership

Algiers, Algeria, June 4, 2016 – Peru and Mexico will meet on the second competition day of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix 2016 tournament in Algiers after winning their matches on Friday. The winner of this match will take the current leadership in the pool standings.
Head-to-Head
• Peru won their only previous World Grand Prix encounter against Mexico, 3-0 on 28 June 2015.
• Peru won four of the last five matches against NORCECA sides at the World Grand Prix. They defeated Cuba three times and Mexico once. Only against Canada they suffered a defeat (3-0).
