Edgar keeps Australia’s hopes alive with 21-point haul

Tokyo, Japan, June 4, 2016 – Australia trounced China 3-1 (25-23, 25-22, 20-25, 26-24) at the Men’s World Olympic Qualification Tournament at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on Saturday.

Olympic Qualification Process

Thomas Edgar scored 21 points to provide Australia the chance of qualifying for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Nathan Roberts, Aidan Zingel and Nehemiah Mote contributed to the Australian victory with 12, 11 and 10 points, respectively.
