Zhangjiagang to host AVC Eastern Zone Championship in July

Zhangjiagang, China, June 3, 2016 – Eight teams will convene in Zhangjiagang City of Jiangsu Province for the AVC Eastern Zone Women’s Volleyball Championship from July 19 to July 24.
The eight teams are drawn into two pools of four. China will feature in Pool A, together with South Korea, Macau and the People’s Republic of Mongolia. Pool B includes Japan, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
The preliminary phase will be played in round-robin form from July 19 to July 21. The top two teams in each pool will move on to the semifinals while the third- and fourth-placed teams will play …
