ROLAND GARROS MEN’S SINGLES: Djokovic comes one match away from tennis glory, will face Murray in the final

Novak Djokovic will play in his 4th Roland Garros final after an easy 6-2 6-1 6-4 victory over Dominic Thiem. Thus, Novak’s bid for the elusive Roland Garros title is pretty much more alive than ever, as he looks strong enough to finally lift the title he wants so much. Thiem, the player who scored most ATP wins after Novak in 2016, had a great tournament behind him but he couldn’t compete with world number 1 today, as he lost almost half of the points on his serve, playing against 13 break points and losing his serve 6 times. Novak played a rock-solid match from start to finish, finishing with 15 winners and a same number of errors, while Thiem was on 27-34. Young Austrian knew he must take the initiative but his shots were not as strong and deep as he would want, but that just wasn’t enough to harm Novak at this level, as the Serb was flying over the court.
