Nadal, Federer and the others. When Withdrawal is Sensational!

Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, who withdrew from the 2016 French Open, were the most high-profile names to have withdrawn from a Grand Slam. Roger withdrew before the start of the Parisian Slam, while Rafa withdrew before his third round match against his countryman Marcel Granollers because of an injury to his left wrist. But there have been other withdrawals too, even in this event like that of Gael Monfils and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and in other tournaments as well.
