Tucuman, Argentina, June 3, 2016 – The Dominican Republic and Bulgaria will play each other in the opening match of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix 2016 Group 2 tournament in Argentina coming to Tucuman with different levels of Grand Prix experience.

• Dominican Republic and Bulgaria have met two times before in major competitions.
• At the 1978 World Championship, Bulgaria won 3-0 and at the 2013 World Grand Prix, Dominican Republic won 3-2 after a 16-14 final set victory.
