McCutchen, Cervelli among 4 Bucs to exit loss

MIAMI — Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen was among four Pirates players who left Thursday night’s 4-3 loss to the Miami Marlins due to injuries.
Catcher Francisco Cervelli, third baseman David Freese and shortstop Jordy Mercer all left after getting hit by pitches.
“It was like the ER here,” Cervelli said. “It was a crazy day, my friend.”
Said Pirates manager Clint Hurdle: “It’s a team looking to find some identity on pitching; end up not having good command.”
