Serena Williams ‘I had some problems with my calf and didn’t play my best’

Serena Williams reached the semifinals with a little bit of difficulties. The World No. 1 beat Yulia Putintseva 5-7 6-4 6-1 despite she suffered some physical problems. ‘Physically it was tough today out there – Serena admitted – I had some problems with my calf today, so especially in the second set it was really hard to push off with the serve. I feel better now. I feel fine. I wanted to finish up everything since I play pretty early – not too early, but pretty early tomorrow.’
