Dillon Says Sharks Still Confident They Can Win Cup

San Jose defenseman Brenden Dillon will be keeping his own blog throughout the course of the Stanley Cup Final. Dillon will check in after games and on some of the off-days in between games.
Here is Dillon’s blog following the Sharks 2-1 overtime loss in Game 2 on Wednesday:
Obviously, you want to come in here and have the mindset of winning both games. That is the approach you want to take when you start a series. But when you lose Game 1 like we did, we were still really positive. We felt like we broke it down and made some adjustments.
I thought we had a lot better game in Game 2. Our start was a lot better than it was in Game 1. I think it was just a couple of little things. That’s playoffs; a shot here, one little pass there and it was unfortunate we couldn’t be on the winning side of it.
It’s hard when you lose like this. You are playing for a lot more than yourself. …
