Dwane Casey, Raptors Agree to New Contract: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction

The Toronto Raptors and head coach Dwane Casey reportedly agreed to a contract extension Thursday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
Wojnarowski reported that the two sides agreed to a three-yea,r $18 million dollar deal, citing league sources. Doug Smith of the Toronto Star confirmed the report.
Casey’s extension is hardly a surprise. The coach led the Raptors to a 56-26 record, the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference and the conference finals, where they lost to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games.
Donnovan Bennett of Sportsnet gave the coach an A-plus grade for the season, noting the following:
