Barnidge has hernia surgery, expected for camp

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio — Pro Bowl tight end Gary Barnidge had sports hernia surgery Thursday and will miss the Cleveland Browns’ mandatory minicamp next week.
Coach Hue Jackson said the expectation is that Barnidge will return for training camp, though he might not be practicing on Day 1.
