Welcome to the new VeloNews.com. You may have noticed that things look waaaaaaay different. We think they look a lot better — more whitespace and breathing room, more homepage photography, and easier-to-read text.
If you’re a regular reader VeloNews in print (if not, click here), you’ll notice a lot of aesthetic queues taken from our recent magazine redesign. Now that both our magazine and website are operating under the same name again, we felt they should also look similar.
The changes here are far more than cosmetic. Much of the fun will come from exploring the site on your own and experimenting with the new tools and content formats. But here are some of the key changes:
• Bike reviews: We’ve completely reinvented these. Every bike we review will now get an overall score, and bikes will be ranked by those scores. But users will be able to filter those rankings by category, pricing, gender, and brand. Want to see a ranking of sub-$3,000 endurance …
