Fabian Herbers’ first MLS goal proved decisive as Philadelphia Union extended their lead at the top of the Eastern Conference with a 3-2 victory over Columbus Crew.
Philadelphia fell behind after 14 minutes when Ola Kamara swept home Ethan Finlay’s cross but goals either side of half-time from Chris Pontius and Vincent Nogueira turned the game in Union’s favour.
