Who will win the Golden Boot?

Euro 2016 will feature some of the world’s most feared forwards, all of them with one eye on the Golden Boot.
Previous winners include Michel Platini, Marco van Basten and David Villa but who will add their name to the list in France this summer?
We take a look at the eight favourites for the award with Sky Bet…
Thomas Muller (Germany) – 8/1
Muller plays from the right for Germany so it’s a testament to his reputation as a tournament player that the 26-year-old still ranks as joint favourite for the Golden Boot. The Bayern Munich man has netted five goals at each of the last two World Cups, was the third highest scorer in qualifying for Euro 2016 and with Germany expected to go deep in the tournament this summer, he is likely to be on the scoresheet yet again.
Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) – 8/1
Portugal’s star player will be nursed through to the finals in the hope of getting him back to full fitness and if that happens then goals are all but guaranteed. Ronaldo has scored 17 times for Real Madrid since March and won’t be shot-shy in a Portugal team that’s constructed around him. Aiming to score in a fourth European Championships and in a group that includes Iceland, Austria and Hungary it’s possible that someone will find themselves on the receiving end of a Ronaldo goal glut.
Antoine Griezmann (France) – 9/1
Perhaps it’s surprising that a player with seven international goals to his name – all of them in friendlies – should be among the favourites to top score at …
