Big 12 votes down walk-on eligibility proposal

IRVING, Texas — The Big 12 voted down a rule proposal Wednesday that would’ve made quarterback Baker Mayfield eligible at Oklahoma for the 2017 season.
Mayfield could still get the 2017 season back, but to do so he will have to leave the Sooners and the Big 12.
