Busch Stadium to host Liverpool-Roma match

MILWAUKEE — Soccer will be returning to Busch Stadium this summer, as the Cardinals announced on Wednesday that their home ballpark will host a match against European clubs Liverpool F.C. and A.S. Roma at 7:30 p.m. CT on August 1. It will mark the fifth soccer match Busch Stadium has hosted since 2013.
“St. Louis soccer fans will not want to miss this exciting match between these two historic clubs,” said Cardinals team president Bill DeWitt III. “This is a wonderful opportunity for soccer fans to see two of the most renowned teams in the world play in a ballpark that has proven to be ideal for world-class soccer.”
Tickets for the match can be purchased at cardinals.com/soccer beginning at 10 a.m. on June 8.
