Everton set to miss out on Monchi

Everton look set to be frustrated in their attempts to bring Sevilla sporting director Monchi to Goodison Park.
The Toffees have been attempting to bring in Monchi – real name Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo – in a similar role to the one he has been performing at the Spanish club.
However, it appears he is staying with Sevilla – according to Sky sources – and, that even if he left, a release clause of around £3.8m would have to be met.
It is thought the recruitment of Monchi would be key in persuading Sevilla coach Unai Emery to take over from Roberto Martinez as Everton …
