Rays need votes on AL All-Star ballots

KANSAS CITY — The first American League All-Star ballot update was released on Tuesday, and the Rays need help to get a candidate among the leaders.
However, the Rays have several players off to good starts this season and worthy of fan votes, including Evan Longoria, Steven Souza Jr. and Logan Forsythe. Brandon Guyer and Steve Pearce are also considerations, even though they aren’t listed on the ballot.

Only the top five vote-getters at each position (and top 15 outfielders) were released.
Fans can cast their votes for starters at MLB.com and all 30 club sites — on their computers, tablets and smartphones — exclusively online using the 2016 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot until June 30 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Vote up to five times in any 24-hour period for a maximum of 35 times.
