Sox place JBJ on paternity list, recall Castillo

BALTIMORE — The Red Sox placed outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. on the paternity list Tuesday and recalled outfielder Rusney Castillo to fill Bradley’s roster spot for Tuesday night’s game against the Orioles.
Bradley returned to Boston on Tuesday to be with his wife, Erin, who is expecting the couple’s first child. Manager John Farrell said that Bradley’s absence comes earlier than expected.
“It is by a couple of weeks,” Farrell said. “Hopefully everyone is getting through this OK and resting comfortably.”
The Red Sox expect to be without Bradley for the next three games in Baltimore, but …
