Pantilimon in Romania squad

Watford goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon has been included in Romania’s 23-man squad for Euro 2016 in France.
Pantilimon is the only British-based player to be included in Anghel Iordanescu’s squad, although former Tottenham defender Vlad Chiriches has also been named.
Steaua Bucharest’s young forward Nicolae Stanciu has also been handed a spot on the plane to France, just three months after making his international debut.
However, there is no place for Alexandru Maxim who has failed to secure a regular place for his club side VfB Stuttgart in recent months.
