UFC Fight Night 88 salaries: Jeremy Stephens tops payroll with $100,000

UFC featherweight contender Jeremy Stephens handily led the disclosed payroll of UFC Fight Night 88, earning a salary of $100,000 for his co-main event victory over former bantamweight champion Renan Barao, according to figures released Monday to MMA Fighting by the Nevada Athletic Commission.
Stephens spoiled Barao’s long-awaited debut in the featherweight division by winning a back-and-forth contest via unanimous decision on the night’s main card, which aired lived on FOX Sports 1 on May 29 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Barao, a former UFC bantamweight champion who defended the belt three times, earned $50,000 in his losing effort.
