Nick Bonino tends to score just in the nick of time

Pittsburgh Penguins center Nick Bonino just has a knack for this sort of thing, regardless of what level he’s playing at.
Bonino’s game-winning goal in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals against the San Jose Sharks was the latest in a series of clutch tallies.
Bonino’s heroics date back to his days at Farmington (Conn.) High School when he scored the game-winning goal in double-overtime of the CIAC Division II championship against Trumbull. In college, he scored the tying goal with 17.4 seconds in regulation in Boston University’s remarkable late-game comeback win over Miami (Ohio) in the 2009 National Championship Game.
Bonino previously scored two series-clinching overtime goals. He had one in 2014 for the Ducks against the Stars and then had one earlier this postseason in the second round against the Capitals.
