Hitter to watch: Alex Dickerson (Padres No. 22)
Look out Jackie Bradley Jr. Dickerson extended his hitting streak to 28 games on Monday in Triple-A El Paso’s 12-0 blowout of Omaha, going 2-for-4 with three RBIs. He’s hitting a robust .442 (46-for-104) with 15 extra-base hits including six home runs and 32 RBIs during the streak, which began back on April 18 before his eight-game stint in the big leagues with the Padres in early May. Watch Morimando attempt to win his ninth game when he takes the mound against the Altoona Curve at 6:35 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV.
Duel of the day: Jose Berrios (Twins’ No. 1) vs. Chad Kuhl (Pirates’ No. 16), Rochester at Indianapolis (7:05 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
