Royals honor military in pregame ceremony

KANSAS CITY — Before the Royals played Tampa Bay on Memorial Day, the team and its fans honored Armed Forces veterans and those presently serving with a pregame ceremony that featured salutes to fallen soldiers, and flowers presented to the families of lost loved ones.
The players from both teams wore specially-designed military-style baseball caps.
