Raptors GM: Re-signing DeRozan is ‘No. 1 goal’

Toronto Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri said his top priority this offseason will be to re-sign DeMar DeRozan, while the team’s run to the Eastern Conference finals proved Dwane Casey is his squad’s “coach for the future.”
DeRozan, a two-time All-Star who averaged 23.5 points per game during the regular season, is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. DeRozan said on Saturday, a day after the Raptors were eliminated by the Cleveland Cavaliers, that he hoped to re-sign with the Raptors, the only team he has played for in his NBA career.
