Roland Garros Day Nine Recap: It’s time to change something

Damn rain! The terror alert and withdrawals of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal had already created headaches for the organizers for this year”s edition of Roland Garros. But obviously, they underestimated the weather. Today, May 30th 2016, there weren”t any matches held because of rain (including two matches of yesterday”s that were pushed to be played today). From the the first week itself, rain has forced players, crowds, journalists and organizers to change the order of play almost daily. And all this has affected the image and prestige of the tournament that is undergoing a decline from the crowd, because of the aforementioned terror threats.
