Cooper weighs up Epsom watering

Conditions on the track at Epsom are on the fast side of good ahead of the Investec Derby Festival but there is rain forecast for the region in the next 24 hours.
Clerk of the course Andrew Cooper is waiting to see how much rain falls in the next 24 hours before thinking whether or not to water the track.
“I’d call it the fast side of good ground. It’s good, with good to firm places,” he said.
