Hummels hopeful of return

Germany defender Mats Hummels has raised doubts about his participation at the upcoming European Championship after admitting it would be a “long time” before he returns to full fitness.
Hummels was expected to start in the centre of defence for Die Mannschaft in France this summer but suffered a torn calf muscle while playing for Borussia Dortmund in the German Cup final on May 21.
