UFC Fight Night 88 Results: Five Top-10 Fighters Defeated, Renan Barao, Bryan Caraway, Sara McMann

UFC Fight Night 88 wasn’t a card that many casual MMA fans likely had on their radar, but the ones who did were treated to some big upsets on the show, with five top-10 fighters being served losses.
In a battle of undefeated fighters, “No Love” Cody Garbrandt, the former boyfriend of Paige VanZant, defeated #7-ranked Thomas Almeida in a one-sided smacking. Garbrandt scored a TKO in the first round after a huge hook that will likely land him in the top-10.
Former UFC Bantamweight Champion Renan Barao made his featherweight debut and was promptly handed a loss by Jeremy Stephens. Barao looked too small for the weight division, and paid for it as his downward spiral continues.
