UFC Fight Night 88 results: Caraway upsets Sterling, grinds out split decision win

The UFC Fight Pass prelims for UFC Fight Night 88 did not disappoint. Even though only two fights were featured, one featured a Heavyweight slugfest while the other saw a major upset in the Bantamweight division.
Bryan Caraway def. Aljamain Sterling by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
The fight started off with Sterling throwing from the outside, mostly spinning kicks. After a few exchanges, Sterling shot for a takedown. He ended up with Caraway against the cage, getting him on the ground and taking his back. Caraway was close to escaping the back mount, but Sterling adjusted and maintained a body triangle from the back. Caraway survived the round, and a very odd looking submission towards the end of the round.
