Teixeira, Beltran may be back in lineup Monday

ST. PETERSBURG — The Yankees could have Carlos Beltran and Mark Teixeira back in the lineup on Monday, when they open a three-game series against the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre.
Beltran left Saturday’s 9-5 loss to the Rays with tightness near his right scapula, having hit a home run for his 2,500th career hit earlier in the game. He said that he should be available off the bench on Sunday.
“I’m not worried,” Beltran said. “I’ve been through worse. This is nothing, man.”
Yankees manager Joe Girardi said that he had planned to give Beltran a day off, with the team visiting two artificial-turf parks on this trip.
