Here’s a look at top prospects to watch in today’s Minor League action:

Hitter to watch: Tyler O’Neill (Mariners’ No. 4)

O’Neill enters the day having tallied at least one RBI in six straight games for Double-A Jackson. He’s driven in a total of 10 runs during the streak and has at least two RBIs in each of his past three games. The 20-year-old has been anything but overmatched in Double-A this season, hitting .317/.379/.567 with a 19/49 walk-to-strikeout ratio in 47 games. On top of that, he’s pacing the Southern League in RBIs (37) and total bases (102) and ranks second in both home runs (9) and hits (57). O’Neill will look to stay hot today when Jackson takes on Montgomery at 6:35 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV.

Pitcher to watch: Jameson Taillon (Pirates’ No. 4)

Taillon struck out eight hitters over six scoreless innings in his latest turn for Triple-A Indianapolis, marking his third scoreless performance in eight starts this season. After missing all of 2014 and ’15, the No. 49 overall prospect has been one of the more impressive hurlers in the Minors so far this season, as he’s pitched to a 1.82 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 51/5 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 49 1/3 innings. The 24-year-old right-hander will look to improve on those numbers when he takes the mound against Pawtucket on MiLB.TV at 6:05 p.m. ET.

Duel of the day: Cody Reed (Reds’ No. 3) vs. Zach Eflin (Phillies’ No. 13), Louisville at Lehigh Valley at 1:35 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV

Reed, No. 61 on the Top 100, is yet to allow more than two …
