The French Open or as many say Roland Garros has started. Stan has “one up” on every ATP player on the roster only because he has won this grand slam last year. He has quite an accumulation of status and accolades, more than many top ten players on the ATP circuit. He is not only one of the few players to have at least reached the quarters at all four grand slams, but has played the longest doubles match in the history of the Davis Cup against the Czech Republic in 2013 at a little over seven hours. At 30, he has won his 16th title of his career at the Chennai Open proving victorious over 19 year old Borna Coric.
