Tsonga injures leg while leading, exits French

PARIS — Sixth-seeded Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France retired from his third-round match at Roland Garros with a leg injury Saturday while leading Ernests Gulbis 5-2 in the first set.
The Frenchman, twice a semifinalist at Roland Garros and the runner-up at the 2008 Australian Open, left the court with a trainer. When he returned, he said he no longer could play.
