NEW YORK — Get ready to party like it’s 1986. Just keep it legal, please.
With 30 years having passed, the New York Mets will honor their last championship team in a pregame ceremony Saturday at Citi Field. Virtually every member of the squad that magically beat the Boston Red Sox in the World Series will be on hand.
The Mets then will send Noah Syndergaard (5-2, 1.94 ERA) to the mound to face Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Kenta Maeda (3-3, 3.29). Syndergaard homered twice against Maeda at Dodger Stadium on May 11.

He limited the Dodgers to one run on three hits, three walks and a hit batter in seven innings. Juan Lagares drove in a career-high-matching three runs and David Wright homered in his third straight game. Dodgers phenom Julio Urias, just 19 years old, lasted only 2⅔ innings in his major league debut. Mets manager Terry …
