With night off, Bautista gets behind mic

TORONTO — Jose Bautista didn’t have much to do during Friday night during the Blue Jays’ 7-5 win over the Red Sox, so he decided to try his hand at a new job: Public address announcer.
Bautista wasn’t eligible to play against the Red Sox because he was serving a one-game suspension, so instead he got behind the microphone for Kevin Pillar’s at-bat in the fourth inning.
