Angels wives to host annual charity event

ANAHEIM — The Angels and Special Olympics Southern California will host the sixth annual Gold Ball Mystery Bag event at Angel Stadium on Saturday, between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Home Plate Gate hats in front of the ballpark.
The wives of Angels players, as well as several Special Olympics athletes, will sell the bags for $40 each, and offer $5 raffle tickets (five tickets for $20) for other autographed items. Each bag contains a baseball autographed by an Angels player or coach, while supplies last, and 12 bags contain baseballs wrapped in gold paper, which can be exchanged for four tickets to an upcoming Angels game and the opportunity to meet the player who signed the ball …
