Hodgson: No Rashford guarantees

Roy Hodgson says Marcus Rashford must wait and see if he is among England’s 23-man squad for Euro 2016 after scoring on his debut against Australia.
Rashford continued his compelling rise to prominence in Sunderland, firing home after a neat move involving Raheem Sterling after just two minutes and 18 seconds of the 2-1 win.
In that moment, the Manchester United forward become the youngest England debutant to find the net.
Hodgson must name his final 23-man squad by Tuesday and the England manager, while impressed by Rashford, is offering no promises.
“What a debut. I’m pleased for him,” he said.
