Six Ducks Named to World Cup Rosters

The Ducks will send six players to the World Cup of Hockey 2016. In addition, Executive Vice President and General Manager Bob Murray is part of the Hockey Canada managament team. The tournament begins September 17, 2016 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Below are the Ducks named to World Cup rosters:RYAN GETZLAF Getzlaf has won back-to-back gold medals with Canada at the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia (2014) and Vancouver, Canada (2010). In the last two Olympic Games, Getzlaf has scored 4-6=10 points with a +5 rating in 13 games. The Regina, Saskatchewan native has also helped lead Canada to medal finishes at the 2005 World Junior Championship (gold), 2008 World Championship (silver) and 2004 World Junior Championship (silver).RYAN KESLER Kesler has represented Team USA at the last two Olympic Games and won silver at the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver. Kesler has combined for 3-3=6 points with a +11 rating in 12 Olympic games since 2010.
