Michalek named to Team Czech Republic for 2016 World Cup

Final roster announcements for the World Cup of Hockey began on Friday. Among the first teams to finalize their roster was the Czech Republic who announced that Maple Leafs forward Milan Michalek would take part in the World Cup.
Michalek has represented the Czech Republic at every level of international competition since 1999 when he was a member of the Czech U17 team. At the senior level he has taken part in two Olympic games, four World Championships. This will be his first World Cup.
