We ask some of Sky Sports’ Football League TV team to tell us their most memorable play-off final matches and moments.
In an exciting weekend of upcoming action, Hull and Sheffield Wednesday face off for a place in the Premier League in Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship showdown, while the League One final pits Barnsley and Millwall on Sunday and Monday’s League Two finale sees Plymouth take on AFC Wimbledon – you can watch all games live on Sky Sports.

There’s been many, many, amazing play-offs over the years. The 5-5 draw between Swindon and Sheffield United in the semi-finals last season was probably the best semi-final, but the most memorable final for me was Ian Holloway’s Blackpool final against Cardiff. It was the first final I covered where both teams went at it and played without fear, which was totally opposite to the first few finals I commentated on. They were all tense affairs but this one was different – it was a sensational occasion.
