Cornet: ‘Without cramps I’d won in straights’ Pierre-Hugues Herbert: ‘This remark shocked me’

The drama of the match between Tatjana Maria and Alizé Cornet continued not only on the court, but in press conference and on Twitter too. The French player was accused by Maria to have called the physio for cramps, Cornet said she did it only because had a hip issue and added that without cramps she would have won in two sets. This declaration leaved Pierre-Hugues Herbert upset. He wrote on Twitter: “I tend to be chauvinist but here I have a little problem Alizé.”
