Champions League Final 2016: Head-to-Head Record Before Real Madrid vs. Atletico

Real Madrid will hope to continue their historical dominance of rivals Atletico Madrid on Saturday as the two teams meet in the UEFA Champions League final at San Siro in Milan for a rematch two years in the making.
Back in 2014, Real scored a last-minute equaliser to snatch the title from Atletico in extra time for the 2013-14 season, finally winning La Decima after more than a decade of waiting.
Few teams have played each other more in recent years than these two rivals from the Spanish capital; they also met in the 2014-15 Champions League and in last year’s Copa del Rey. And while Real historically hold the advantage, they’ve beaten the Rojiblancos just once since the 2014 Champions League final.
