John McEnroe: ‘Kyrgios is similar to me! I would be available to coach a young player’

A year ago John McEnroe had said that he would have been open to coach Fabio Fognini. He is still open to do it, and when interviewed by Il Corriere dello Sport explained what he likes about the fiery Italian. “His personality, his style, the way he moves on the court. I appreciate him less when it seems he has not much passion. The match against Nadal was the best one I ever watched of Fabio, and in terms of spectacle one of the best in the US Open history,” said McEnroe.
