Welcome to DraftKings fantasy baseball, the Official Daily Fantasy Game of Major League Baseball.
The players listed below could provide difference-making stats for DraftKings participants on Friday.
Jason Kipnis: From a premium lineup spot, the second baseman could set himself up to score multiple runs by reaching base often when he brings his lifetime .810 OPS against right-handers (.657 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Orioles righty Mike Wright (career 5.53 ERA, 1.47 WHIP). In his career, Wright has allowed left-handed batters such as Kipnis to post a .961 OPS (.729 OPS allowed to righty batters).
Derek Dietrich: With 21 homers across 594 career at-bats against right-handers, the second baseman could provide power at his premium position when he faces righty Williams Perez (career 4.58 ERA, 1.46 WHIP). Dietrich could also excel against a Braves bullpen that ranks 27th in the Majors with a 4.48 ERA.
Justin Bour: Since the outset of last season, the first baseman has ripped 32 round-trippers across 459 at-bats against right-handers. Bour could go deep or drive in multiple runs when he tangles with the right-handed Perez and an unreliable Braves relief corps.
Ryan Braun: With a lifetime .336/.404/.628 slash line against left-handers, the outfielder has proven to be among the best in baseball during those matchups. Braun could post a game-changing total in DraftKings contests when he bats at his offense-inducing home park against Reds southpaw John Lamb (career 5.68 ERA, 1.58 WHIP).
Jonathan Lucroy: The catcher could provide production from a premium position when he brings his lifetime .820 OPS against left-handers (.756 vs. righties) into a matchup at his hitter-friendly home park against the southpaw Lamb (career 4.51 FIP). Lucroy could also succeed against a Reds relief corps that ranks last in the Majors with a 6.49 ERA.
Adrian Beltre: Since joining the Rangers at the outset of 2011, the third baseman has posted a .314/.385/.538 slash line against left-handers and a .334/.384/.570 slash line at his hitter-friendly home park. Beltre could go deep or drive in multiple runs when he tangles with Pirates southpaw Jon Niese (4.75 ERA, 1.43 WHIP in 2016).
Elvis Andrus: With …
