Seahawks ‘counting on’ returns of Rawls, Graham

RENTON, Wash. — Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Thursday that running back Thomas Rawls and tight end Jimmy Graham are on track to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season.
“We’re thinking that that’s real possible, yeah,” Carroll said. “That’s what we’re thinking. We have to avoid setbacks obviously, but we’re kind of counting on that.”
Rawls fractured his ankle and suffered ligament damage in December. Graham sustained a ruptured patellar tendon in late November.
During Thursday’s practice, Graham jogged lightly and caught passes from the quarterbacks during warm-ups. Rawls spent the session on the sideline.
