Tennis- World No.1 Serena Williams, 2008 French Open champion Ana Ivanovic, eighth seed Timea Bacsinszky and 12th seed Carla Suarez Navarro have reached the third round of the 2016 French Open Women’s Singles event.
World No.1 Serena Williams registered a straight sets win 6-2, 6-1 against Teliana Pereira to keep her defence for the title going. Pereira lost in the second round for the third straight year.
