Rafael Nadal vs. Facundo Bagnis: Score and Reaction from 2016 French Open

Nine-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal cruised into the third round at the 2016 tournament on Thursday with a crushing 6-3, 6-0, 6-3 victory over Argentina’s Facundo Bagnis.
The Spanish clay-court master was surprisingly broken in the opening game of the match, and Bagnis, the world No. 99, went 2-0 up.
However, the 26-year-old then won just one of the next 14 games as Nadal saw out his second convincing victory of the week in style.
He also joined an elite club by claiming his 200th career win in Grand Slam competition, per the New York Times’ Christopher Clarey:
