Laura Robson suffered an opening round loss at the French Open as the former British No 1 was beaten by Andrea Petkovic in straight sets. The 22 year old now faces a long road ahead of her as she has now used up the last of her protected ranking opportunities and will have to now go and play at the ITF Circuit.
