Holt not yet ready to return from DL

BOSTON — Brock Holt, who underwent a full battery of tests with concussion specialist Dr. Micky Collins in Pittsburgh over the last couple of days, won’t be activated when he is first eligible Thursday.
In fact, manager John Farrell added that the Red Sox will be without Holt for “a little bit.”
“Yeah, he went through a battery of tests with Dr. Collins in Pittsburgh over the last two days,” said Farrell. “He’s traveling back to Boston here tonight, and after a full workup with Micky there, I feel like there’s a very detailed treatment plan in place for him. He’ll begin some general conditioning tomorrow when he gets back to us.
